Recommendations from Previous Guests

We have truly enjoyed our stay here.  We originally came for only one week, and loved it so much we stayed for three months!

The host, Ed Wegner, is a really good guy.  He has plenty of good information, or tell you who does.  He can tell you about fishing and attractions to see, and tell you where not to go.

The cabin is very efficient... the walls either hold heat in, or keep it out, whatever is needed.

The wildlife here is spectacular.  We have see deer, fox, snapping and painted turtles, porcupine, gray heron, downy woodpecker, pileated woodpecker, hummingbirds, blue jays, mourning doves, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons, frogs, skunk, muskrat, loon, merganser, otter, bald and golden eagles, and bear.
